Who am I?
I always wanted to be a journalist, and I completed one of the top journalism programs in the country after high school. I then spent a couple of years doing what I'd always dreamed of -- writing for newspapers. At some point, I realized that while writing news was great, it wasn't the best fit for me. I began to consider other options.
After spending a couple of years teaching English in Asia -- which gave me a chance to see the world and think about what I wanted to do with my life -- I settled on law school. Law had always been in the back of my mind as a "maybe someday" kind of idea, and now seemed like the ideal time.
I've just gotten married to my university sweetheart and will be starting law school in a few days. I'm excited about returning to school and look forward to the challenges ahead!
A law degree will open doors into a wide variety of jobs. I have no idea what kind of law I want to practice, but I will spend the next three years learning as much as I can. I'm sure I'll find the right area of law for me!
